I’m sharing two simple homemade dog shampoo recipes. There’s a dry-skin formula that contains oats, water and baking soda to help protect dry skin. The regular dog shampoo recipe contains just baby shampoo, water & vinegar.
Our needs for dog shampoo are slight. We only have one small dog. But she’s a cutie, let me tell ya!

Sour cream is something I enjoy from time to time, although RancherMan’s never been a fan.
So instead of buying it I use my own homemade yogurt and lemon juice to make a healthy substitute for sour cream.

Planned leftovers is purposely cooking more at one meal with the intent of turning those leftovers into a completely different kind of meal the next night.
We’d purposely grilled more chicken & vegetables so I could incorporate planned leftovers for the next day (which means a night off cooking!) That excess grilled food was quickly changed into delicious homemade chicken fajitas in minutes.
