We’ve really been enjoying some unseasonably cool fall-like weather here in NE Texas and I’m LOVING it! There’s still much to do this time of year, I see my wild plums are starting to ripen on the pasture trees so I’ll be headed out there to harvest them soon – I’m thinking maybe plum jam… Of course there’s planting a fall garden and preparing for the colder months too, but in the meantime – TGIF y’all!! To celebrate I’ll share a Throwback Thursday post with you, where I fall back into the archives and bring back to the surface a post that has proved popular with our readers. And today’s share is aaaaaall about fall, y’all! Apple season is almost upon us, why not put those home-canned apples (or even the commercial cans) to good use?
