I was just in the Austin area last week and the bluebonnets were everywhere. I probably saw 20 people pulled over and taking pictures of their pets and/or kids. There was even a guy taking a picture of his jacked 4 wheel pick-up in sea of bluebonnets! We got a good laugh out of that…

Hi Visiting from the Wake Up Wednesday blog hop at Sew Crafty Angel. Cute photo! We live in Texas too and love our annual bluebonnet photo sessions. If you want to see some adorable twins frolicking in the wildflowers, pop over to spitandsparkles.com. 🙂

Yes ma’am Carol, wildflowers are so beautiful this time of year. I’m always mindful to look down on my walks through the pastures as it’s ablaze with color. Love it! ~TxH~

Thanks Shari. Spring really is a glorious time to be a Texan, huh?? And your poodle getting a smooch from a calf would have been a great picture! ~TxH~

I just returned from our property in Wolfe City and everything looked really beautiful. This is my favorite time of year when everything looks so green. I also noticed all the blue bonnets on the side of the road. I wish I’d gotten a picture of my puppy poodle getting a kiss from one of the calves through the fence. It was really cute. Speaking of cute, your new baby sure is a sweetie.

I love the new baby. She is absolutely regal and gorgeous! Schnauzers were high on my list our last go round of looking for a new baby, but I couldn’t get the Yorkies out of my blood – that baby factor you know? The one we had recently had to have put down after 13 years, was still as much a baby to me at 13 years as she was at 6 weeks. Our current baby will be 10 in three days. Such a joy in our lives. I was so happy when I read your post a week or so ago and saw Bailey. I know she will love it with you guys . And Bailey and the bluebells? Totally a “frame worthy Kodak” moment 🙂

Awwwww… Thank you for your sweet words Barbara. Bailey is 5 years old but I love how she looks like a puppy still, so I know what you mean. We’re working on her training & it’s going well, she’s so eager to please even after all she’s been through with the shelter & adoption. <3 her ~TxH~
