Drat the drought! I’m glad your tree is blooming! Our baby plum tree has it’s first blooms this year (going into it’s 3rd summer) and I hope to get at least 2 plums – one for me and one for my hubby – so we at least know how they taste! Good luck and I hope you get a bumper crop this year!
How exciting Vickie! I planted several plum trees as well as apricot, peach and cherry in our back yard when we moved here but alas for whatever reason our back yard isn’t allowing fruit trees. I did plant a pear tree in the pen behind our house & so far despite the cattle tormenting it though it’s protective circle it’s still going strong. ~~
