Quick & Easy Tortilla Pizza

These easy tortilla pizzas can be made quick since they only need about 5 minutes in an oven. Just add tomato sauce, toppings & cheese to get that pizza on the table fast! #TexasHomesteader

Ingredients

  • 8 Flour tortillas
  • 1 8 oz jar Pizza Sauce (Can use tomato paste sprinkled with Italian seasoning instead)
  • 1 8 oz bag Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Desired Toppings (veggies diced small)

Instructions

Directions;

  1. Preheat oven to 425℉

  2. Place each tortilla on baking sheet.

  3. To the top of each flour tortilla, smear a thin circle of pizza sauce almost to the edges of the tortilla.

  4. Add a light sprinkling of mozzarella cheese

  5. Top pizza with desired toppings such as -

    Vegetables: chopped onions, bell pepper, black or green olives, mushrooms, etc. (Be sure to chop vegetables small so they will cook.)

    Meats: pepperoni, Canadian bacon, cooked sausage or hamburger, etc.

  6. Add another light sprinkle of mozzarella cheese on top to anchor ingredients to tortilla.

  7. Place baking sheet in oven set to 425℉ oven and bake until cheese is melted (about 5 minutes)

  8. Serve Hot.

Recipe Notes

NOTES:

Chop vegetables small so they cook in the short baking time required.

Don't overload pizza - a light sprinkling of ingredients is all that's required. 

You may need to cook these tortillas in batches if your baking sheets aren't large enough.
