Planned leftovers is purposely cooking more at one meal with the intent of turning those leftovers into a completely different kind of meal the next night.

We’d purposely grilled more chicken & vegetables so I could incorporate planned leftovers for the next day (which means a night off cooking!) That excess grilled food was quickly changed into delicious homemade chicken fajitas in minutes.

After the holiday feast is over, what do you do with all that leftover turkey & dressing? RancherMan loves when I make Turkey & Dressing Patties from them. They’re like Potato Cakes, but using turkey & dressing instead. Come see.

What to do with that leftover turkey & dressing? Make it into turkey & dressing patties. Similar to potato cakes, it's crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. And so good. No more wasted food! #TexasHomesteader

Remaking Leftovers: Quick Beef Quesadillas from Leftover Meatloaf

Leftover meatloaf can be so versatile. I turned plain leftover meatloaf into something new and delicious – beef quesadillas! 

It made a lot – enough for supper and lunches the next day too. And since I was using leftover food, it was almost free.
