WHEW – we made it to Friday, y’all. To celebrate such a joyous task I’m going to share a Throwback Thursday post with you – I’ll fall back into the blog archives and bring back to the surface a post that’s proved very popular with our readers. And today’s post is all about bread. And BEER! All brought together in Italian-Flavored deliciousness… I love making homemade bread and I make it every week for my handsome RancherMan, but sometimes you don’t want all the fuss – you want something quick & savory and boy do I have a recipe for you! Check out this quick & easy Italian-Flavored Beer Bred recipe y’all!
I will tell you what! I made both beer bread versions, pesto and the cheddar and sun dried tomato! To die for – heavenly, yummy and a great pairing for a spring salad and / or soup! You got a winner here. By the way, I used Yuengling Amber as my beer of choice. Thank you for these keeper recipes! It was quick and I made both at the same time while the oven was pre-heating. Many thanks, adore your blog.
OMGosh Angela – thanks for sharing. We love this beer bread recipe because it’s so easy to add savory ingredients to really change it up, although plain beer bread is delicious as well. So many options! ~TxH~
There doesn’t appear to be a link to the recipe for the beer bread. Could you please supply that? Thanks.
OOPS, sorry Donna!! I’ve corrected the post – check it out. ~TxH~
