Hanging clean laundry on the line under that blazingly-blue sky just speaks to my heart, reminding me of slower & gentler days gone by. ~TxH~

I miss hanging laundry out. Where we live it’s against the rules. Blah blah blah. Can’t wait to move home (Texas) and live out on the country again, where I can do what I want. I’ll be going home to Texas in 2 weeks for a visit. Praise the Lord…….wooohooooooo.
Texas is indeed a grand place to live – I know you’re gonna love your visit home! ~TxH~

Me too Lucy – me too! ~TxH~
I love it too Daphne. It reminds me of standing next to my grandmother helping her to hang her laundry out to dry. Sweet memories indeed… ~TxH~
Good Morning Tammy, How lovely to see clear blue skies as here in my part of England the weather is still damp and cold. There is nothing like seeing washing blowing and drying in the wind. I’m not sure why I enjoy the sight, I just know I do. I think it stems from when my daughters were small, we did not know about tumble dryers and so clothes were dried outside and if it was a good day, everything would be dried, folded up and placed in the ironing basket ready to be iron….. but if the rain came, I had to run outside, gather in the washing and hang it on a rack to dry….. not so nice. Oh the memories.
Have a lovely weekend.
Best Wishes
Daphne
