It feels like fall here this morning…but I’m in Ohio so it’s too chilly for my tastes!
I often want to comment on your blog, but double digit math before coffee stops me from doing it. (I cheated with a calculator this morning, haha!) Is there an easier captcha type spam blocker you could use? I realize this is more my hang up than yours, but I’d like to comment more often! I just hate math so much…
Thank you for your comment Jamie. We tried the easier “enter the word” captcha but spammers were hammering our site trying to breach it. Thankfully they never got in but the sheer volume of their attack caused our site to go down a couple of times. (GRRRR… wish those people would just get a REAL job!) But you’re the second person to be honestly forthcoming about this. I love, love, LOVE to read everyone’s comments and don’t want to make it difficult on anyone to interact, so I’ll ask my I.T. guy (RancherMan, LOL) if we can find a middle ground somewhere with the captcha. ~TxH~
I’m so glad you read that comment the way I meant it and didn’t take it as an insult! It’s hard to get tone across in text. Spammers are the worst, I can definitely imagine your frustrations there.
Needless to say; I will be so glad when Fall gets here and have cooler temperatures. Had a very nice shower of rain this morning and looking forward to the cooler temperatures that is in the forecast for this week.
