Throwback Thursday: MYO Cherry Pie Filling

Whelp, another Thanksgiving in the books, hope yours was as awesome as ours was! We got all four kids (and all four grandbabies) in the same place at the same time. Warms a mama’s heart. Of course there was lots of good food too and that inspires today’s Throwback Thursday topic.

Have you priced a can of cherry pie filling in the stores? (gasp!) And have you noticed there’s lots of filling, but not so many cherries? Well that just won’t do for my Mix-n-Serve Cherry Shtuff Dessert. I like lots of cherries! So I discovered how easy it is to make a can’s worth (about 1 cup). Check it out!
